Colette's Story

Colette Sturgis holds multiple roles within the field of Maternal and Infant Health. Currently, she serves as the Program Director for the Maternal and Infant Community Health Collaborative at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This position allows me to lead a team of exemplary Community Health Workers who provide services to high need pregnant and parenting women in underserved areas of the Bronx in New York. Collette believes that mothers, babies and their families should be healthy and treated with respect and hopes to move society towards that end. In addition to her role as Program Director, she is also a Certified Birth Doula and an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant.
