Jeff's Story

Jeff is a registered dietitian practicing medical nutrition therapy specializing in holistic/optimal wellness, non-diet approach sustainable weight loss, eating disorders/disordered eating, chronic disease prevention/treatment, performance/sports nutrition, and anti-aging by using a "food is thy medicine approach" coined by Hippocrates, a Greek physician who is considered one of the most outstanding figures in the history of medicine.

Jeff is known as an expert in his field at making specific medical nutrition therapy food recommendations easy to implement in order to complement medical treatment for managing common chronic illnesses including diabetes, heart disease, cancer, GERD, GI/bowel issues, post-bariatric surgery, and auto-immune diseases.

Currently, Jeff works as a performance registered dietitian for the Army with the Department of Defense working in a Family Medicine Clinic for active-duty soldiers and their families. He gives the daily nutrition and wellness brief to all new incoming active-duty soldiers to the JBLM military base to help them prevent musculoskeletal injuries and weight gain to help active-duty soldiers meet Army weight standards.


Jeff likes to make healthy eating and lifestyles easy by making his own educational materials and providing easy to understand wellness/nutrition recommendations on his free website, This free resource is to help increase awareness and education around food, health, and wellness for the American population. His website is filled with free provider qualified information about body composition changes, macronutrient timing and pairing, mindfulness, nutrition strategizing, healthy relationships with food, preventative health, meal preparation, supplements, exercise, and sports nutrition for free from a licensed and credentialed registered dietitian.
