Bastyr University now offers a Master of Acupuncture with a Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization in a hybrid format. The program includes approximately 1500 hours of synchronous online learning coupled with lab courses and clinical training on one of our campuses. It is designed for students who want to learn all aspects of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, integrating Eastern traditions with biomedical best practices. Students in this program will also learn how to communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals and patients.

- Hands-on, in-person labs and clinical training at San Diego and Kenmore campuses

- More than 1,000 hours of supervised clinical training
- Opportunities to study other therapies like tai chi, qigong, and therapeutic nutrition
- Preparation to sit for board exams and gain licensure
